Administration / Accounts Officer
Job Description:
Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are a hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate group of professionals who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
Our North Auckland office, based in Albany is looking for an Administrator / Accounts Officer to support the team of 30+ engineers and geologists. The role is varied and would suit someone with a strong interest in accounts/bookkeeping who is happy getting stuck in and helping out wherever required to keep the office running smoothly.
You'll report to the NZ Admin Team Lead (also based in Auckland) and work alongside another accounts/administration officer. You'll have plenty of support and training to get up to speed with the CMW systems. If you have experience working in a previous accounts role, that is preferred; however, we're primarily looking for someone with a positive team attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Timely processing of monthly accounts, reporting & reconciliations
- Effective maintenance and administration of a range of office systems such as the Health & Safety System and Quality System in conjunction with the Office Manager
- Efficient running of the office including supplies, mail, calls and messages, couriers, photocopying, binding and general office maintenance
- Accurate documentation of key meetings such as audits, health and safety meetings and team meetings
- Organisation of key communications and events for staff
Qualification/Experience
- Previous experience working within a professional services office environment.
- 2 + years experience with accounts and invoicing is preferred
- Relevant qualification in administration, bookkeeping, business or similar.
- MYOB experience preferred
