Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a skilled Geologist to support gold exploration and mining activities in Madagascar. The role involves geological mapping, sampling, data interpretation, and reporting to support resource evaluation and mining operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with fieldwork and able to analyze and present geological data effectively. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological mapping and field investigations.
• Perform sampling and logging of geological data.
• Analyze and interpret geological and exploration data.
• Support gold exploration and resource evaluation activities.
• Prepare geological reports and documentation.
• Monitor and record field observations accurately.
• Collaborate with mining and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Assist in planning and execution of exploration programs.
• Maintain proper documentation of geological data.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Geology or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in geological work
• Experience in gold exploration and sampling.
• Strong knowledge of geological data interpretation.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork in mining environments.
• Experience in geological reporting and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
