Job Summary:
The HR Manager oversees all human resource functions to ensure effective talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compliance, and a productive workplace culture. This role supports organizational goals by managing HR operations, advising management, and ensuring employees are engaged, trained, and aligned with company policies and values.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Manage end-to-end hiring processes: job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work with department heads to identify staffing needs.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment that boosts productivity and retention.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Lead staff engagement initiatives and internal communication.
3. Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and monitoring employee performance.
- Recommend development plans for underperforming staff.
4. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across the organization.
- Develop training calendars and coordinate learning programs.
- Track the impact and ROI of training initiatives.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee disciplinary procedures and ensure fairness and consistency.
6. Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Administer payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits.
- Support salary reviews and compensation benchmarking.
- Ensure employees understand their benefits and entitlements.
7. Strategic HR Planning
- Contribute to organizational planning and workforce forecasting.
- Advise management on HR policies, trends, and best practices.
- Lead HR initiatives aligned with company strategy.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- CHRP or other HR certifications (added advantage).
- 5+ years of experience in HR roles.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, people management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
