Job Summary:

The HSE Supervisor supports the HSE Manager in ensuring the effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs on renewable energy projects. The role focuses on site-level supervision, monitoring, and enforcement of HSE policies to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Monitor daily HSE activities on renewable energy sites (solar, wind, hydro) to ensure compliance with project safety plans.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and hazard identification.
  • Support incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training for staff and contractors.
  • Assist in the preparation of HSE reports, statistics, and dashboards.
  • Ensure all personnel follow PPE requirements, work permits, and safe operating procedures.
  • Promote safe working practices and a culture of environmental responsibility on site.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • Must have a technical degree plus international HSE degree/diploma and a minimum of five (5) years as HSE professional in solar projects and/or having equivalent experience in power plants of similar technology or similar mega infra works.
  • Good understanding of local HSE regulations, renewable energy hazards, and safe work practices.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams on safety practices.
