Job Summary:
The HSE Supervisor supports the HSE Manager in ensuring the effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs on renewable energy projects. The role focuses on site-level supervision, monitoring, and enforcement of HSE policies to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Monitor daily HSE activities on renewable energy sites (solar, wind, hydro) to ensure compliance with project safety plans.
- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and hazard identification.
- Support incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training for staff and contractors.
- Assist in the preparation of HSE reports, statistics, and dashboards.
- Ensure all personnel follow PPE requirements, work permits, and safe operating procedures.
- Promote safe working practices and a culture of environmental responsibility on site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Must have a technical degree plus international HSE degree/diploma and a minimum of five (5) years as HSE professional in solar projects and/or having equivalent experience in power plants of similar technology or similar mega infra works.
- Good understanding of local HSE regulations, renewable energy hazards, and safe work practices.
- Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate site teams on safety practices.
