Job Summary
CNS Group is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager for a company in the Agriculture & Agro-Processing industry. The role is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, training, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, HR operational expertise, and the ability to support organizational growth in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Management
- Oversee daily HR operations and ensure smooth workforce management.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and company regulations.
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with department heads.
- Support employee development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Manage probation evaluations and employee confirmations.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Support disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate performance appraisal and performance improvement processes.
- Promote a positive and productive working environment.
Training & Organizational Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs.
- Support leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor HR trends and recommend process improvements.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management updates.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate with management on HR strategy and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Human Resource Management roles.
- Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, industrial, or operational environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
