Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to support gold processing operations in Madagascar. The role involves operating and monitoring furnaces for gold smelting and doré production, ensuring optimal temperature control, product quality, and safety standards. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor furnace systems for gold smelting and doré production.
• Control temperature and key process parameters to ensure optimal output.
• Ensure product quality and consistency during smelting processes.
• Monitor furnace performance and respond to process deviations.
• Follow strict safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of furnace equipment.
• Record operational data and maintain accurate logs.
• Work closely with metallurgical and plant teams.
• Identify and report any operational or safety issues.
• Support continuous improvement in smelting operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical certification or relevant experience in furnace operations.
• 5+ years of experience in furnace or thermal processing operations
• Proven experience in gold smelting or doré production.
• Strong understanding of furnace operations and temperature control.
• Ability to monitor and adjust process parameters effectively.
• Strong focus on safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in high-temperature and demanding environments.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
