Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our team in the chemical sector, specializing in the supply of raw materials and chemical solutions to the mining and detergent industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of industrial chemicals, excellent customer relationship skills, and a track record of successful B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and detergent industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Promote and sell chemical products and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide technical guidance and product information to assist customers in selecting appropriate chemical solutions.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with technical, logistics, and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and site visits as required.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
Job Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in sales (spare parts industry preferred)
- Good knowledge of automotive products and customers' needs
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of European automotive spare parts is an added advantage
