Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Civil for a company in the Agriculture & Agro-Processing industry. The role is responsible for planning, supervising, monitoring, and executing construction and engineering activities on-site in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical coordination, site supervision, and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

  • Monitor daily construction and site activities.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate contractors, technicians, and labor teams on-site.
  • Maintain discipline and proper workforce management at the site.

Technical Coordination

  • Interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.
  • Provide updates and feedback to the Project Manager regarding project risks, delays, or design deviations.

Quality & Safety Management

  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and testing activities.
  • Identify defects or non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
  • Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage.
  • Support project scheduling, planning, and resource coordination.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain site diaries, inspection reports, and project documentation.
  • Record measurements for billing and consultant certification.
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in site supervision or project execution.
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or technical projects is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality inspection procedures.
  • Basic understanding of project planning and project management tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Professional work ethic, discipline, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in site-based and physically demanding environments.
