Case Tractor Operator

Job Summary:

The Case Tractor Operator will safely operate Case tractors and agricultural implements for land preparation, cultivation, transportation, and other farm operations. The role will support timely field activities while ensuring proper tractor operation, routine inspection, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Case tractors for ploughing, ripping, discing, cultivation, hauling, and other assigned farm activities.
• Attach and operate agricultural implements according to operational requirements.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of engine fluids, tyres, brakes, hydraulics, and other tractor systems.
• Monitor tractor and implement performance during field operations.
• Carry out basic operator-level maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and routine adjustments.
• Report mechanical faults, unusual noises, leaks, or performance problems promptly.
• Maintain records of operating hours, fuel usage, completed activities, and equipment condition.
• Follow designated field routes, operating instructions, and farm safety procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certificate or recognized vocational/agricultural machinery operator training is preferred.
• Valid relevant tractor/operator licence or certification where applicable.
• Minimum 3 years of practical tractor operating experience, preferably in commercial or large-scale agriculture.
• Good knowledge of tractor operation and agricultural implements used for land preparation and cultivation.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, tyres, and routine tractor maintenance.
• Ability to safely attach, adjust, and operate agricultural implements.
• Good safety awareness, reliability, and equipment-handling skills.
• Previous experience operating Case or similar agricultural tractors will be an added advantage.
