Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a reliable Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations within a mining project in Madagascar. The role involves assisting with sample preparation, maintaining laboratory organization, and supporting routine tasks to ensure smooth laboratory operations. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sample preparation and handling.
• Support laboratory technicians in daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Label, store, and manage samples properly.
• Assist in basic laboratory tasks and routine procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Handle materials and equipment carefully.
• Support documentation and record-keeping tasks.
• Perform physical and routine tasks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in laboratory support or technical environment
• Understanding of sample preparation processes.
• Ability to perform routine and physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
