Civil Engineer (2 Positions)

Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer for a mining project in Madagascar. The role is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating civil engineering works related to mining infrastructure, plant construction, roads, drainage systems, foundations, and site development activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and experience working in industrial or mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil engineering and construction activities on-site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Support planning and execution of mining infrastructure and site development projects.
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate contractors, technical teams, and site activities effectively.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Support quantity verification, material monitoring, and project cost control activities.
• Identify technical issues and recommend corrective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and engineering best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Experience in mining or industrial projects is preferred, but related industry experience may be considered.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and quality control procedures.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in engineering reporting and project documentation.
• French or English communication is required.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Madagascar.
