Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations within a mining project in Madagascar. The role involves sample preparation, chemical analysis, and supporting laboratory processes to ensure accurate and reliable results. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Conduct chemical analysis using standard laboratory methods.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness.
• Follow laboratory procedures and safety standards.
• Support quality control processes and testing protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of samples.
• Work closely with chemists and laboratory team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in laboratory testing, analysis and sample preparation.
• Knowledge of standard analytical methods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
