Interior Architect / Designer

Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Architect / Designer to support a furniture retail business. The role involves designing interior spaces, advising clients on furniture selection, and creating functional and aesthetic layouts that align with customer needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense and the ability to combine architecture with interior styling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design interior layouts and space concepts based on client requirements.
• Advise clients on furniture selection, materials, colors, and finishes.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and space assessments.
• Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Assist in showroom layout and visual merchandising.
• Prepare design proposals, drawings, and quotations.
• Ensure functionality, aesthetics, and practicality in all designs.
• Stay updated with interior design trends and furniture innovations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in interior design or furniture-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture, and interior styling.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with basic sales awareness.
