Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance Officer– Capital Markets & Brokerage for a company in the Financial Services industry. The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, treasury management, financial reporting, and internal controls within brokerage and capital markets operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of securities brokerage operations, capital markets regulations, and financial management practices.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee daily financial operations and accounting activities.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, treasury management, and financial performance.

Brokerage Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with capital markets regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Monitor brokerage financial operations and client funds reconciliation processes.
  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance procedures.

Financial Analysis & Risk Management

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to management.
  • Monitor operational costs, profitability, and financial risks.
  • Support audit activities and implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and financial transactions.

Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with management, auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
  • Prepare management reports and financial performance updates.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial systems and operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or related professional qualification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in capital markets, securities brokerage operations, or related financial services roles.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury management.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and client funds reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage operations and capital markets regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting systems, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized mindset.
