Coachella Valley Anesthesia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital.

This position offers a rare opportunity to earn an exceptional income while working approximately half the year. With a predictable 26-week schedule, physicians have the flexibility to pursue additional professional interests, spend more time with family, travel, or enjoy a healthier work-life balance—all while practicing in a supportive, community-focused hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical procedures and emergency cases.
• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative patient care.
• Cover an 8-hour in-house daytime shift followed by off-site call.
• Respond to urgent and emergent anesthesia needs within the required 30-minute response time.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active California Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Current DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative practice environment
