MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary focus (80%) of this role as Senior Solutions Architect is to lead the technical pre-sales cycle for the Elastic platform (Search, Observability, Security). The ideal candidate is a deep technical expert who can establish credibility with CTOs and Heads of DevOps, architect compelling solutions, and win technical evaluations through masterful Proofs of Concept (POCs).

In addition to their primary focus, this senior resource will dedicate approximately 20% of their time to providing high-level technical governance and mentorship for our existing iPaaS/integration implementation team, ensuring quality and continuity of service for our current customers.

Core Responsibilities:

• (80%) Lead Technical Pre-Sales for Elastic: Own the end-to-end technical sales motion for the Elastic platform, from discovery to winning the technical decision.
• Architect & Prove Value: Design and present robust, scalable solutions and lead hands-on Proofs of Concept (POCs) that demonstrate the value of Elastic in the client's own environment.
• Act as the Trusted Technical Advisor: Build strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders, establishing yourself as a credible expert in data platforms, observability, and cloud architecture.
• (20%) Provide Integration Practice Governance: Serve as the senior technical authority for our existing iPaaS implementation projects. Review solution designs, act as a final escalation point, and mentor the implementation team on best practices.
• iPaaS Experience Requirement: Possess a minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience with iPaaS/integration platforms to effectively provide governance and mentorship for existing implementation projects.
• Minimum iPaaS Integration Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with iPaaS/integration platforms.
• Enable the Sales Team: Articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or another technical engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as a Solutions Architect, Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, or Senior Solutions Consultant.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with at least one of the following enterprise-grade platforms:
• Comprehensive deep expertise is required across all three enterprise-grade platforms: Data/Observability, Cloud, and Integration platforms.

• Data/Observability Platforms: Elastic Stack (preferred), Splunk, Datadog, or similar.
• Cloud Platforms: Significant experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• Proven experience scoping and leading successful Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
• Strong understanding of modern IT architecture, including microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native technologies.
• Exceptional presentation and whiteboarding skills, with the ability to command a room of technical experts and executives.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):

• Elastic Certified Engineer or other relevant industry certifications.
• Experience in key verticals such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, or E-commerce.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) space.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript) for building custom demos or integrations.
• Advanced certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• A Master's degree in a technology-related field is an advantage but not required.
• Experience with iPaaS/low-code integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Workato) is a significant plus, demonstrating the breadth to oversee our existing practice.
