Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day coordination with a focus on ensuring that the accounting procedures and processes are followed.
• Verify that established controls are effective to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information reported and the protection of the assets of the business.
• Provide analysis of local taxation requirements to ensure the companys obligations are met.
• Play a key role in Accounts Payable, Payroll Administrator, Financial Reporting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Accounting Graduate, CPA preferably
• At least five years of Finance/Accounting work experience preferably in the Mining Industry or exceptional academic performance.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and current pronouncements and developments.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws especially on local taxation expanded withholding tax and Vat.
• Familiar or knowledge of Pronto Enterprise Management System
• Strong excel or P2P knowledge

Location: Aroroy, Masbate

This is a site-based position. The work roster is four (4) weeks onsite followed by two (2) weeks off
