About the job Financial Analyst (Offshore)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in economics, finance, applied mathematics, engineering, computer/data science or physics
- Minimum one year related analytical work experience
- Strong understanding of broad financial markets, asset liability management (ALM) analysis and depository valuation. Ability to handle multiple, complex projects with attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
- Demonstrated the ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous working environment with multiple and diverse responsibilities while possessing exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Must be proficient in Excel and have experience developing statistical models using large, complex data sets. Aspiration and propensity to problem solve using advanced functions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheet risk assessment reports, parallel ALM analyses, and process reviews for depository institutions
- Perform merger valuations for depository institutions
- Maintain credit table projections in analytics software and provide continuous market updates to firm on default and severity projections by product type
- Manage and refresh key economic variables dataset
- Conduct data analysis/manipulation
