Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead and execute end-to-end marketing strategies across digital and retail channels, with a sharp focus on elevating brand presence in the beauty space. This role is crucial in driving customer engagement, enhancing omnichannel visibility, and converting brand affinity into tangible sales outcomes through cohesive marketing execution across product launches, seasonal campaigns, and retail activations.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Brand & Marketing Leadership
- Design and lead the comprehensive marketing strategy across all consumer touchpoints, aligned with business goals and brand values.
- Translate brand vision into integrated campaigns that resonate with beauty consumers both online and in-store.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and merchandising teams to support product sell-through and brand growth initiatives.
Digital Marketing & E-commerce
- Develop and oversee paid and organic digital campaigns that drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversion.
- Manage performance marketing and ad spend efficiency across platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok), optimizing for acquisition, retargeting, and ROI.
- Lead email and CRM efforts to improve customer retention, reactivation, and lifetime value.
- Partner with ecommerce and UX teams to ensure seamless online shopping experiences and sales-focused optimizations.
Retail & In-Store Marketing
- Plan and execute in-store campaigns that bring brand storytelling to life through visual merchandising, experiential retail, and seasonal activations.
- Lead initiatives that support new store openings, in-store exclusives, beauty events, and promotional rollouts.
- Collaborate with store operations to ensure consistent execution and timely deployment of materials across all branches.
Campaign & Team Management
- Oversee campaign development from concept to execution, working cross-functionally with design, content, retail, and digital teams.
- Define KPIs and regularly assess campaign performance, adapting strategy based on analytics and market feedback.
- Lead creative direction briefings and ensure alignment with brand aesthetics, audience expectations, and retail objectives.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals across digital, brand, and in-store functions.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values innovation, accountability, and passion for beauty.
- Support professional growth of team members through clear direction, feedback, and development opportunities.
Industry & Product Immersion
- Stay current on beauty trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to inform campaign relevance and innovation.
- Maintain strong product knowledge across all categories and champion storytelling that highlights product efficacy and value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- At least 7 years of marketing experience, with proven success in both digital and in-store channels; beauty or lifestyle retail experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of the beauty consumer journey across awareness, trial, and loyalty
- Demonstrated leadership in managing marketing teams and cross-functional campaigns
- Analytical mindset with experience in campaign measurement, digital performance metrics, and ROI tracking
- Proficiency in marketing platforms, analytics tools, and project management software
- Strong communicator with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and present ideas clearly
