About the job Investment Operations Analyst - Manager Onboarding
You will be responsible on onboarding new managers and funds to the trading platform and supporting their account opening process for inclusion in existing clients' portfolios. The Investment Operations Analyst will coordinate legal negotiations, facilitate the review and execution of contracts and fund documents, and maintain documentation for clients and funds related to assets.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tax and legal review of third-party asset manager documentation and investment contracts.
- Identify legal issues in reviews that may impede investments for clients and in-house funds.
- Ensure high-quality work that adds value to clients, adhering to Excellence principles.
- Provide guidance to consulting and portfolio management teams on legal review processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Assist with due diligence queries and resolve legal/tax inquiries.
- Lead projects using subject matter expertise.
- Maintain and utilize internal databases.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and external service providers.
- Improve processes based on prior experience.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business, Math, Finance, Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of successful investment industry experience
- Investment Onboarding experience specifically onboarding fund/investment managers
- Legal/paralegal background
- Knowledge/experience of investment manager agreements and fund subscription documents.
- Strong organizational skills for multitasking under tight deadlines.
- Project management experience
- Understanding of institutional clients is a plus.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong internal networking and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Hybrid (2x onsite per week)
