About Role:

We seek an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic expansion efforts, manage key customer relationships, and drive sustainable volume growth across various channels. This role is critical in identifying new market opportunities, growing our retail footprint, and executing high-impact sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in modern trade, general trade, and non-traditional channels.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to inform commercial strategies and promotional planning.
  • Lead negotiations and manage trade terms to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Develop and execute tailored business development plans per channel, region, and customer segment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to align sales goals with brand strategies and operational capabilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of trade promotions, activations, and new product launches.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and business reviews to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, key account management, or trade marketing preferably within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling customer partnerships and growing category shares.
  • Deep understanding of retail dynamics, pricing structures, and consumer buying behavior.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools and data analytics platforms is an advantage.
