Job Description:
The Portfolio and Analytics Manager is primarily responsible for monitoring portfolio growth, quality, performance and profitability of all products. He/she will perform portfolio and data analysis to enhance existing portfolio actions, credit and collections strategies and work with other units to formulate new test programs or strategies that will drive business growth and improve portfolio quality.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and interpret data to assess portfolio quality and understand the main drivers of emerging portfolio trend.
- Perform portfolio deep dive and segmentation analysis to find opportunities for growth and improvement of portfolio performance.
- Drive and manage portfolio actions by identifying appropriate parameters and analysing historical performance to find suitable criteria that will promote business growth and/or improve portfolio quality and profitability.
- Recommend test programs and other initiatives that can increase credit productivity, approval rates and acquisition quality.
- Formulate Collections Strategies by performing data analysis on portfolio delinquency and flow rates, curing and collections productivity.
- Collaborate with peers and other business units to deliver tasks/activities aiming to promote portfolio growth and
- good portfolio quality.
- General tasks include portfolio deep dives, credit quality monitoring and other analysis to support other business units.
- Ensure accuracy of data used in the analysis and provide data driven solutions/recommendations.
- Recommend process improvements that will help Data Science and Analytics team deliver tasks more efficiently and timely.
- Perform and deliver tasks that will bring positive impact to the departmental and country KPIs.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree relevant to the job
- MBA a plus
- Experience in any or all of the following banking portfolio analytics or credit risk and acquisition/credit cycle or collection strategies
- Excellent quantitative skills with background in credit strategy, overall credit cycle and business metrics.
- Programming skills (R, Python, Sql, SAS), MS Office, Powerpoint, Power BI, Qlik, other statistical or reporting tools
- He/she must be a member of good standing in the relevant industry, business or professional organization.
- Proven ability to establish internal and external relationships across all levels
Work Setup:
Setup: Hybrid (3X onsite per week)
