About the job HR Head
Role:
This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance with labor laws, and creating HR policies aligned with the school's mission and goals. The HR Head is a strategic partner to the school leadership, providing guidance on HR matters and supporting the overall development of staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Head of HR, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire hiring process, from job posting to onboarding and collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Facilitate professional development and growth opportunities for staff.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Ensure the schools HR practices comply with labor laws and standards.
- Oversee salary administration and ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Manage employee benefits programs and provide information to staff.
- Collaborate with school leadership to align HR strategies with the school's mission and goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for informed decision-making.
