Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the planning and availability of raw and packaging materials (R&P materials) by executing precise and timely supply requirement calculations and setting delivery timelines. This role ensures seamless materials flow in line with operational needs while minimizing risk and waste.
Responsibilities:
- Review and authorize material requisitions to guarantee timely availability of R&P materials based on accurate forecasts and schedules.
- Finalize and maintain the rolling forecast and planning for all R&P materials.
- Assess and flag materials at risk of obsolescence and implement strategies to mitigate write-offs.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment of material depletion and consumption plans.
- Enhance team capabilities through training and development in effective materials planning.
- Establish contingency sourcing plans and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders for any supply disruptions.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to drive process improvements such as optimizing minimum order quantities (MOQs), supplier performance evaluation, and strategic sourcingsupporting long-term inventory optimization targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain operations with a focus on materials and production planning or contract manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills; proactive in risk identification and resolution.
- Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Highly analytical with strong numerical aptitude and the ability to address planning constraints using data-driven approaches.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and planning software such as SAP and other digital supply chain platforms.
