About the job Property Manager
Job Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily technical, maintenance, and support operations of a commercial or mixed-use facility, ensuring that all infrastructure and service standards are efficiently met.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations related to engineering, facilities upkeep, housekeeping, and security to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and comfort of all building occupants.
- Conduct periodic audits of infrastructure and recommend upgrades to comply with relevant codes and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of outsourced service providers such as janitorial, security, pest control, fuel and waste services, and utility maintenance contractors.
- Oversee the preparation and approval process of the annual operational budget for the facility.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review standard operating procedures and technical manuals related to building operations.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements, permits, and certifications are consistently updated and compliant with local laws and industry best practices.
- Provide periodic reports on operations, incident logs, project progress, and other noteworthy activities to senior management.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in their discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in facilities management, technical administration, or property operations.
- In-depth understanding of local building regulations and property laws.
- Technical proficiency in MEPF systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors.
