About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Records and Information Management Associate Director to join our team. This key expert will ensure that the company adheres to global legal and regulatory standards, with a particular focus on data protection, cybersecurity, and global insurance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across multiple regions, this individual will drive major compliance and governance initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration to strengthen our organizational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in legal and regulatory compliance, with a focus on data protection, global insurance, and cybersecurity.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders across different countries on legal, compliance, and governance matters.
  • Lead and/or support high-impact compliance, governance, and legal projects that enhance business operations and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Act as a cross-functional connector, facilitating collaboration between Legal, IT, and Business teams to support smooth implementation of organizational changes.
  • Represent the compliance function in senior-level discussions, negotiating and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
  • Influence key decisions as a trusted individual contributor without direct team management responsibilities.
  • Leverage expertise in international standards (e.g., ISO frameworks, data governance best practices) to design and implement compliant, scalable systems and processes.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging compliance risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and alignment with global standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience across compliance, legal project management, change management, and governance-related roles.
  • Proven ability to drive complex cross-border compliance initiatives and influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Strong understanding of data protection regulations (such as GDPR), ISO standards, and global cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively with cross-functional teams and leading without formal authority.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
