Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience in supply chain or industrial engineering roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain environments, with a focus on process improvement, lean manufacturing, and supply chain optimization
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and process design
  • Experience in process mapping, automation, data analysis tools and other related software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Visio)
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain software, such as ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
  • Certification in Six Sigma or knowledge in ISO would be a plus

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager will oversee project execution and support the development of tailored solutions for clients in manufacturing and supply chain optimization. This role requires a strong background in project management, with a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will manage project tasks, supervise team members, and ensure the delivery of value-driven results.

  • Project Management: Lead and supervise consulting engagements focused on supply chain optimization, process improvement, and cost reduction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement process improvements across the supply chain ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis to diagnose supply chain bottlenecks, forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve logistics and production flows.
  • Client Engagement: Working closely with stakeholders to understand their challenges, set expectations, and deliver high-quality consulting services.
  • Solution Development: Develop and implement tailored solutions based on client needs, including strategies for procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Team Supervision: Guide and mentor supervisors & associates, providing oversight and feedback to ensure project tasks are completed on time and to standard.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identification of process bottlenecks and variations through Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools. He/she will lead process improvement projects with minimal supervision.
