Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead a nanofiber membrane manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-woven, film, or textile production, with an engineering mindset and proven track record in managing complex, high-volume industrial operations. This is a strategic and operational role, requiring both people leadership and technical process optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire production operation, ensuring output meets company goals for quality, cost, and delivery
  • Lead, develop, and supervise production teams across shifts (over 90+ production staff)
  • Optimize daily manufacturing schedules, resource allocation, and machine utilization
  • Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, QC, and R&D to troubleshoot and resolve production or process issues
  • Monitor and report key production KPIs (e.g., throughput, scrap rate, downtime, OEE)
  • Manage new product ramp-ups, process validations, and tech transfer from R&D
  • Play a key role in scaling production capacity to support company growth (2M to 6M linear meters/year)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering or a related technical field
  • 7-10+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production leadership role
  • Strong background in non-woven, textile, polymer film, or technical materials is a must
  • Demonstrated success leading production teams in a scaling or fast-growing environment
  • Proficient in manufacturing metrics, lean methodologies, and structured problem-solving
  • Comfortable with data-driven decision making and hands-on floor management
