BUSINESS PLANNING AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Planning and Operations Manager supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by overseeing the governance, performance, and compliance of the Operations Group. This role ensures that the group meets company standards and adheres to all regulatory and government requirements, while managing and mitigating risks that affect operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operations Governance and Compliance
- Lead the transformation efforts within the Operations Group by facilitating process analysis, gap assessments, and continuous process improvements.
- Monitor the performance and output of the Operations Group, providing guidance on process improvements and operational strategies.
- Ensure alignment of projects and programs with the companys overall goals and direction.
- Define performance metrics for projects and programs, tracking results against targets to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Equip BD and Engineering leaders with the necessary project management and process improvement tools to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular health checks on department projects/programs, including budget and resource management.
- Ensure that operational processes comply with company standards, regulatory, and government requirements; escalate compliance risks to the COO/CEO for action.
- Facilitate the development or updating of policies and procedures to ensure compliance within Business Development and Engineering operations.
- Implement mechanisms to track and monitor departmental compliance.
- Operations Risk Assessment and Control
- Coordinate and collaborate with BD and Engineering departments to manage operational risks and maintain an integrated risk view across functions.
- Advise on the identification and implementation of appropriate risk controls to prevent losses or operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure that risk mitigation plans are executed by the responsible units, with accountability for risk management clearly defined.
- Ensure that projects stay within budget, scope, and deadlines as planned.
- Stakeholder Management
- Drive transparency in operational processes and risks, ensuring that decisions and responsibilities are clearly communicated and executed within the Operations Group.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and implement strategies to manage the impact of changes.
- Lead the development and execution of transition and communication plans for stakeholders.
- Provide regular performance updates and reports to the CEO regarding the Operations Groups output and delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Background
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field.
- Preferably with Project Management Certification or equivalent experience in managing operational business projects/programs.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or the administration of transformational programs, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge and Competencies

Work Setup:
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM -6:00PM
