About the job Fund Accountant
Responsibilities
- Administration duties
- Unit registry
- Updating client details
- Platform Maintenance
- Client onboardings
- Daily/Monthly/Quarterly NAV review
- Monthly/Quarterly bespoke reporting
- Quarterly BAS/Tax reporting
- Fund reporting, trade execution and reconciliation of fund and client positions (numeracy and working with excel is a key requirement)
- Payment Entry
- Compliance monitoring
- Manage relationships with counter-parties (Registry, Custody and Administrators)
- General Administration and business operational matters
- Perform other duties from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance or business-related courses
- Background and working knowledge in Fund Accounting, preferably with Australia-based companies
- Preferably with at least 2-year experience as fund accountant from custody/fund manager.
- Smart, numerate, self-motivated, and eager to build relationships with all 3rd party providers to the business and colleagues
- Mandarin speaking and writing skills are not required but would be looked upon favourably along with previous experience within the fund management industry, specifically working in unit registry
- Excellent communication skills - can articulate his/her skills, background with ease.
