Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or similar role (at least 7 years related relevant experience)
- Team player with the ability to work within integrated, multi-disciplinary project teams
- Strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks to achieve your team/project/client goals
- Acts as role model for business development and lead generation
Responsibilities:
- Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders especially the Senior Management Team in progressing opportunities
- Accurate forecasting of future business to support the successful delivery of all projects
- Build professional relationship with internal and external customers, ensuring sales opportunities are maximized and enhancing companys reputation as an advisor of choice
- Achieve sales targets supporting the strategic plan for growth
- Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Plan, develop and oversee new marketing initiatives for lead generation
- Expand business in existing accounts and open new opportunities in greenfield accounts
- Represent the firm in conferences, industry events and other relevant meetings
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Assist in developing quotes and proposals for clients in compliance with company policies
- Developing goals for the business development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
- Train personnel and help team members in business development initiatives
- Share knowledge, give constructive feedback and coaching/mentoring to other team members
- Understand the wider offerings of the firm and gain a good understanding of broader sector/client trends, issues, needs, and potential applicability/relevance to services offered by the group
