Job Description:
The Finance Systems Manager is entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing the banks finance systems and ensuring their alignment with the organization's strategic goals. This role is central to safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of the banks financial systems. The manager is tasked with implementing and maintaining robust systems and data governance frameworks, thereby playing a pivotal role in risk mitigation in accordance to local finance policies and procedures. This role is also expected to drive digital transformation initiatives within the finance function, focusing on intelligent process optimization to achieve operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for all Finance Systems and Accounting Hub (FSAH) related source systems.
- Serve as a business analyst, providing the framework for new source system implementation, including requirements gathering, Functional Specification Document (FSD) review, and GFMS FSAH related design.
- Define detailed accounting template entries and pre-mapping values for new source systems.
- Conduct reviews of FSAH maintenance.
- Support the reconciliation team in resolving all FSAH errors within the stipulated SLA period.
- Coordinate with the Projects & System Support team on batch loads, reports, and other areas affecting Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
- Liaise with Local Technology to resolve issues, maintain the General Financial Management System (GFMS), and support other BAU activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree relevant to the job
- MBA a plus
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is essential.
- Certification in Information Systems (e.g., CISA) is desirable
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance systems management, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Proven experience in system implementation and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of finance systems and general ledgers.
- Proficient in data governance and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with banking operations and financial products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Advanced skills in financial software and reporting tools.
Work Setup:
Setup: Hybrid (3X onsite per week)
