Role Overview:

The FP&A Manager is responsible for leading the organizations financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes. This role ensures the effective use of financial data to support strategic decision-making. It involves partnering with various departments, providing accurate and timely financial reports, and implementing efficient budgeting systems that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budget Development

  • Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data.
  • Analyze historical trends and market conditions to set realistic targets.
  • Prepare and present budget proposals aligned with company strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and alignment with organizational objectives.

2. Budget Implementation

  • Develop and enforce budgeting policies, procedures, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and validate inputs from departments to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Review budget requests for compliance and make allocation recommendations.

3. Budget Monitoring and Analysis

  • Monitor budget performance and investigate variances.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insightful financial reports to management and suggest corrective actions as needed.

4. Financial Forecasting

  • Create forecasts based on financial data, market insights, and business trends.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Present forecasts and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • CPA certification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in FP&A or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), POS, and finance automation tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing finance-related projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, tax, and local financial standards.
