About the job Sr Software Engineer (Ivanti UWM Engineer) - I & II
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Ivanti UWM solutions, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user workspace management, including profile management, application control, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain secure and efficient UWM solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of Ivanti UWM software and related components.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve support processes.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams on UWM functionalities and best practices.
- Participate in On-Call support rotations to ensure 24/7 availability for critical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical support or engineering roles, preferably with Ivanti UWM or similar user workspace management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Ivanti UWM products and user workspace management technologies.
- Experience with enterprise-level IT infrastructure and security protocols.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Ivanti Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
