About the Role
The Senior Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications and services using the .NET framework and related technologies. The role involves building scalable APIs, integrating with SQL Server databases, and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using .NET and .NET Core frameworks.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external system integrations.

Write, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server stored procedures, queries, and database schemas.

Participate in the full SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Conduct code reviews, identify improvements, and adhere to best coding practices and standards.

Support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation where applicable.

Document technical solutions, architecture decisions, and development guidelines.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in application and service development.

Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, REST API, and SQL Server.

Experience in application design, architecture patterns, and SDLC best practices.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Experience with source control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills

Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) is a plus.
