Summary:

A growing non-profit US healthcare organization is seeking a Lead of Workforce Management and Business Continuity to drive staffing efficiency and operational resilience across the organization. This role leads workforce forecasting, scheduling, and intraday management while owning the development, testing, and governance of Business Continuity Plans. The position provides data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to operational leaders to improve utilization, reduce overtime, and strengthen recovery readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end workforce management, including volume forecasting, capacity modeling, and staffing schedule development to meet service-level targets.
  • Monitor adherence, shrinkage, and intraday performance; partner with operations leaders to drive real-time and near-term staffing adjustments.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish workforce dashboards and reports with clear operational and executive-level insights, ensuring data accuracy and version control.
  • Own the development, maintenance, and governance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) in alignment with enterprise BCM standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute business continuity tests and exercises (table-top and simulations); document results, identify gaps, and drive remediation actions to closure.
  • Maintain BCM risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers; provide regular status updates and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and publish BCM dashboards and reports to support audit readiness and executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Facilities, HR, Training, and Transition teams to align workforce capacity and continuity strategies across peak periods, transitions, and disruption scenarios.
  • Provide workforce management and business continuity support to leadership as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, intraday management, or business continuity support.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, capacity modeling, and schedule optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with workforce management tools and KPI dashboarding.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and testing Business Continuity Plans.
  • WFM platform training or certification; ISO 22301 awareness is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days RTO and 2 days WFH), with a required 3-month onsite training period

Schedule: Night shift with flexibility
