Role Description

  • Package and distribute of Packages and Security Patches/Hotfixes via JAMF Pro
  • Prepare and deliver JAMF Pro SLA and saturation reports for internal management.
  • Maintain and improve documentation relating to the JSS administration processes and procedures
  • Maintaining healthy JAMF Pro environment by purging managed systems that are no longer connecting to the server
  • Configures Extension Attributes to dynamically administer managed devices
  • Creates Scripts used within JAMF Pro that is used for deployment
  • Configure JAMF Pro Policies to be advertised to users and for security patch deployments
  • Communicates via phone, instant messenger, or email and troubleshoots utilizing remote control utilities, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist users.
  • Install software and follow ETLA guidelines in place.
  • Work on projects and assist other teams with providing advanced desktop troubleshooting in collaboration to identify, analyze and resolve complex environment issues.
  • Identifies, investigates, and researches problems to resolution or escalates to proper team to further isolate issue using appropriate escalation processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to high quality customer service.
  • Follow ITIL procedures for incident and request fulfillment management.
  • Perform duties and task as per assigned.

Role Requirements

  • Must be amenable to a rotating schedule, including graveyard shifts, and a hybrid work setup based in the Mall of Asia Business Complex.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Mac OS X versions 11 15.7
  • Must be knowledgeable with current Apple hardware (iMacs, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Apple TV, iPods, etc.) and/or any popular Mac software.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure Mac configuration.
  • Extensive experience in integrating Mac into a Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Extensive experience in imaging and thin-provision Mac Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience using JAMF Pro, JAMF Pro Cloud and any Mac Deployment Tools
  • Extensive Mac application packaging experience.
  • Advance experience working with programming languages such as bash and python is a plus
  • Advance knowledge in securing Mac OS X using File Vault 2 tool.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing a ticket tracking system such as Service-Now or any equivalent ticket tracking system.
  • Able to work evenings or weekends as per needed basis.
  • Knowledgeable using virtual application such as VMWare Fusion or any equivalent virtual application tool.
  • Basic Apple Certification is strongly preferred.
  • JAMF certification is a plus.

Work set up: Hybrid (2 to 3 days on-site)
