A leading global financial services provider is looking for a Manager, Operational Risk Governance Reporting (US) to oversee the consolidation and communication of risk metrics for the North American region. This role focuses on the governance side of GRC, ensuring that risk identifications, assessments, and control results are accurately reported to senior management and regulators. As an individual contributor with strong project management exposure, you will act as a bridge between local data and onshore governance teams, ensuring that the risk profile of the business is transparent and well-governed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the governance and reporting lifecycle for operational risk, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission to US stakeholders.
  • Analyze Risk Identification & Assessment data to identify emerging trends and systemic risks within the organization.
  • Support the design and evaluation of internal controls, focusing on their impact on governance reporting.
  • Collaborate with the ORM team to integrate RCSA and RCA findings into formal governance dashboards.
  • Drive the documentation of risk appetite statements and ensure business alignment with established governance thresholds.
  • Assist in the management of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) reporting and Incident Management tracking.
  • Apply project management principles to coordinate cross-border reporting initiatives between MBPS and onshore units.
  • Act as a subject matter champion for governance tools and reporting platforms used within the GRC space.
  • Provide training and guidance to local teams on reporting standards and governance protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related course.
  • At least 3 solid years of experience in Operational Risk Governance or Reporting.
  • Must have experience in Financial Services (Banking/Insurance/GWAM).
  • Strong background in Risk & Control Assessments and Control Design.
  • Prior exposure to BCM, TPRM, or Disaster Recovery reporting is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting to US stakeholders.

Work Setup: Hybrid

Schedule: Night Shift (first 6–12 months) with potential transition to Mid-shift (Mon-Fri)
