About the role:
We are looking for a skilled and driven Analytics Officer to join our Credit Risk & Analytics function. This role is suited for professionals with hands-on experience in credit risk analytics, statistical modeling, and data-driven decision-making within the BFSI domain. The role will involve key participation in building and enhancing credit scorecards, supporting risk strategy formulation, and driving data-driven decision-making across the customer lifecycle. This is a high-impact role within a growing function, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute
to building a strong in-house analytics capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and enhancement of credit risk models
  • Perform end-to-end model lifecycle activities: data preparation, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, validation, and monitoring
  • Translate analytical outputs into actionable credit strategies (cut-offs, limit setting, segmentation)
  • Perform portfolio analytics to identify risk trends, early warning signals, and opportunities for optimization
  • Support analytics across Marketing, Acquisition, Behavioral, and Collections strategies
  • Develop and maintain analytical datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity, using programming languages (Python / R / SAS / SQL)
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management
  • Collaborate with Credit Operations, IT, and other teams to ensure proper implementation and data integrity
  • Work with external partners on model validation and deployment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or any related quantitative field
  • 5–7 years of experience in analytics, preferably within the BFSI/Credit Risk domain for the Manager level.
    3–5 years of experience in analytics, preferably within the BFSI/Credit Risk domain for the Officer level
  • Hands-on experience in credit risk model development (PD models required; EAD/LGD exposure is a plus) and validation
  • Experience in portfolio analytics and risk strategy development
