My client, an international software company, leads the energy sector with innovative solutions. Their New Zealand operation has been crucial in data management and asset optimisation for eight years, offering a start-up's agility with global backing.

The Opportunity:

This company is expanding rapidly and seeking a proactive Key Account & Business Development Manager. You'll strengthen existing client relationships and drive market growth, both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Relationship Management: Nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Business Development: Identifying and converting new leads in NZ and international markets.
  • Strategic Planning: Crafting and owning account plans and growth initiatives.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Developing proposals, budgets, and contracts with internal stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity.

About You:

You'll have a proven track record in key-account management and/or business development, ideally within the energy, utilities, or enterprise-software sectors. A solid understanding of the NZ energy market (electricity, flexibility services, smart metering, EV charging) and a genuine interest in its transition are essential.

If you are someone with strong commercial acumen, a confident communication style, and the ability to self-manage multiple initiatives - this is the role for you. Willingness to travel within New Zealand is required, with occasional international trips. German language skills are a bonus.

 Salary Package:

NZ$ 85,000.00 - 110,000.00 (New Zealand Dollar)
