Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Consultant with strong hands-on experience in CPQ
(Configure, Price, Quote), data management, permissions and security models, data transformation, API
integrations, and Salesforce platform development. This role is ideal for a technically adept professional
who thrives in dynamic, agile environments and enjoys solving complex business problems using modern
Salesforce architecture and integration patterns.
Role and Responsibilities
• Design and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions including product configuration, pricing rules,
quote generation, and approval workflows.
• Develop and maintain SOQL queries and Apex classes for complex business logic, data processing,
and automation.
• Manage user permissions, sharing models, and security settings across Salesforce orgs to ensure
data governance and compliance.
• Lead data cleanup, migration, and transformation initiatives using tools like DataLoader, Data
Loader CLI, and custom Apex scripts.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, CRM,
marketing automation) using MuleSoft, Salesforce Integration Cloud, or custom middleware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Business Analysts) to deliver end-to-
end solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Contribute to technical design documents, integration specifications, system architecture reviews
and troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Salesforce,
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases, best practices, and emerging technologies in the
Salesforce ecosystem.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments with JIRA or similar tools.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration.
• Proven experience with Salesforce CPQ (including Product, Price Books, Quote Templates,
Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes).
• Strong proficiency in SOQL, Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex), and Lightning Web Components
(LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce data modeling, data migration, data deduplication, and data quality
improvement.
• Expertise in API development and integration (REST, SOAP) using Salesforce Platform and third-
party tools.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security model (Profiles, Roles, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets).
• Desired experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Salesforce Integration Cloud, or
Zapier.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Salesforce DX, SFDX).
• Experience supporting Sales Cloud in enterprise environments with complex sales processes and
reporting.
Good to have:
• Experience with CloudCoach, Salesloft, Totango, Pardot, or Gong for sales operations and
customer success analytics.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Community Cloud.
