About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain Python-based applications leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows.

In this role, you will work on end-to-end AI-powered solutions, from retrieval and indexing pipelines to model integration and production deployment. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and software developers to bring intelligent systems into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based AI applications leveraging GenAI, RAG, agentic workflows, and LLM technologies

• Design, implement, and optimize retrieval pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, and indexing techniques

• Integrate APIs and models such as OpenAI, LLaMA, LLaMAParse, LangChain, and other LLM frameworks

• Enhance AI workflows by applying retrieval and knowledge augmentation techniques to improve accuracy, relevance, and reliability

• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers, product managers, and software developers to deploy AI-powered solutions

• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following best software engineering practices

• Debug, monitor, and optimize AI/ML applications to ensure performance, robustness, and correctness

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GenAI, NLP, RAG architectures, and Python-based AI frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Hands-on experience working with Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) and real-world applications

• Familiarity with retrieval mechanisms such as FAISS, dense vector embeddings, or similar indexing solutions

• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts

• Experience integrating APIs and libraries such as OpenAI, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers

• Experience working with SQL databases

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills

• Experience with prompt engineering and prompt management

• Familiarity with agent-based architectures and multi-step AI workflows

• Experience with Google ADK or similar AI development toolkits
