Overview

As a Finance & Operations Specialist, you will be an integral support to the team and manage a broad range of responsibilities from financial management and accounting, compliance reporting. Were looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented, numbers-loving person that can balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines. This person will be challenged to think, work creatively and independently to adapt to the pace of the company.

Responsibilities

Treasury

  • Main liaison for accounts receivable and accounts payables with vendors
  • Review GGV intercompany balances with fund accountants and work with FinOps Assistant to resolve on quarterly basis
  • Prepare Quarterly Budget / Forecast review
  • Main point of contact with Indonesia Custodian to execute trades (listed securities)
  • Coordinate with external service providers, including fund administrators and custodians, to ensure accurate and timely recording of fund transactions.
  • Support the Fund Controller in managing fund operations, such as investment allocations, capital calls, and distributions.

Audit

  • Work closely with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Manage CIMA FAR filing procedures with Fund Admin and Auditor

Compliance/ risk management

  • Maintain Investor Risk Matrix and Investor CDD files in the appropriate folders of the company
  • Assist with compliance reporting to MAS, DITC, FATCA, CRS
  • Help implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to mitigate operational and financial risks

Tax

  • Collaborate with Tax Advisors on Tax Structures on as-needed basis
  • Drive timely completion of tax filing and compliance requirements with fund accountants
  • In charge of quarterly GST and annual Corporate Tax filing

LP reporting/queries

  • Review capital account statements against approved allocations
  • Collaborate with the Fund Controller to prepare LP quarterly reports, investor communications, and other financial deliverables.

Portfolio Execution

  • Monitor execution inbox; and execute standard corporate actions from PortCos
  • Maintain PortCo information on Portfolio Monitoring Platform (eg Cap Table/ Metrics)

Admin

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and schedule document signing and courier needs.

Requirements

  • Degree holders with accountancy / finance / banking / business specializations
  • 3-4 years relevant experience in asset management firm
  • Familiarity with accounting softwares (i.e., Xero) preferred
  • Ability to multi task and adapt to changing priorities
  • High self motivation
