Job description:

Cardiovascular Technician – (Cath Lab Tech and EP)

As a Cardiovascular/Cath Lab technician You play a critical role in caring for our veterans in the San Diego area.

Required Skills:

• Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) program
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Active ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience
• Active Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), CVT, CRT or CCI with valid state license
• Fluoroscopy experience (CA Fluoro license Not required but a plus)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular procedures
• Past First Assist experience
• Experience with invasive cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic testing
• Past or current VA experience
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Some on-call responsibilities

• Hospital: 2 years (Preferred)
