Senior DevOps Engineer(Oracle Cloud)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect and maintain cloud, big data, and AI environments, leveraging our "Infrastructure-as-Code" methodology.
2. Oversee and manage distributed, fault-tolerant cloud and containerized components.
3. Lead the orchestration of expanding environments on Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
4. Define, iterate, and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and SRE best practices.
5. Design solutions focusing on availability, capacity, performance, and security.
6. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with global teams encompassing requirements engineering and support.
7. Draft, review, and share technical documentation detailing cloud architectures.
8. Drive architectural decisions and sustain our automated real-time data streaming pipeline leveraging Apache Kafka and Spring Cloud.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud and associated services.
2. Comprehensive understanding of containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
3. Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
4. Foundational knowledge in Terraform or similar technologies.
5. Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities, with a knack for both technical and business conversations.
6. Eagerness to continually learn, keeping pace with evolving technologies and best practices.
7. Fluent in spoken and written English.
8. Embraces constructive and respectful communication and discussions.
9. Collaborative mindset, especially in a high-uptime, 24x7 environment. Preparedness for on-call responsibilities.

Desirable Skills:

1. Familiarity with one or more major Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
2. Experience in Role Management to bolster infrastructure and service security (OAuth, RBACs, IAM).
3. Advanced expertise in Java Spring Boot/Cloud and streaming platforms, notably Apache Kafka.
4. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, e.g., GitLab, Jenkins.
5. Background in database administration and big data systems such as PostgreSQL, S3/Azure Blob Storage, and Elasticsearch.
