Senior Full-stack (Angular/Python)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with the UX team to translate complex concepts into a user-friendly interface.
2. Regularly integrate and deploy code into the cloud environment.
3. Develop applications with a modern tech stack, including Python, Scala, Postgres, Flask, Play, and NoSQL.
4. Play a pivotal role in defining the architecture using tools like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
5. Work hand-in-hand with Product Owners in a collaborative and agile setting.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of web development experience with Python.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Angular 10 or newer.
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries for state management, especially Ngrx and Redux.
• Proficient in designing APIs and documenting them via Open API/Swagger.
• Comprehensive knowledge of web standards, best practices, and front-end performance.
• Command over Unix/Linux, including basic commands and scripting.
• Profound knowledge of AWS services.
• Mastery over source control systems, especially Git.
• Strong grasp on algorithm optimization and distributed systems.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with frameworks like Play, Flask, FastAPI, Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

Soft Skills:

• Fluent communication, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach with strong collaboration skills.
• Being a natural team player.

Work Schedule:

• Overlap of 5-6 hours with PST.

Interview Structure:

• 2.5-hour interview comprising 1-hour front-end, 1-hour back-end, and a 30-minute cultural segment. This will also include a live coding test.

Employment Details:

• Position: 12-month-term contractor (Note: This position does not include medical coverage or paid leave).
• Full-time commitment (40 hours/week).
