About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing fintech startup, is expanding into Mexico and seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive sales and market adoption in the region. This role is ideal for a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives in a startup environment and has experience in fintech, payments, or crypto.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, acquiring new clients, and shaping the sales playbook for the Mexican market. They will work closely with the regional General Manager and Growth teams to drive revenue and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence in Mexico.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Identify, acquire, and activate new clients, focusing on fintech, e-commerce, and cross-border payment solutions.
- Define and refine the sales playbook to establish scalable processes for future hires.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Growth, Product) to shape the go-to-market strategy.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to improve product offerings.
- Track sales performance using KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within payments, fintech, or a related industry.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and take initiative.
- Proven track record in sales execution, meeting, and exceeding targets.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Interest in crypto, stablecoins, and cross-border finance (prior experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in early-stage startups or fast-scaling fintech companies.
- Knowledge of blockchain, crypto payments, or DeFi.
- Existing network in the fintech, payments, or e-commerce industry in Mexico.
