QA Lead

Type: Full-time Contractor
Location: Argentina (Hybrid in Buenos Aires preferred) or Brazil (Remote)
Work Mode: Hybrid or Remote

Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to guide and mentor a 10-person QA team (7 manual, 3 automation). This person will combine leadership with active contribution, helping junior QAs grow, defining quality practices, and ensuring reliable releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the QA team with a player-coach mindset
• Own and maintain QA practices, ensuring CI/CD alignment
• Implement Definition-of-Ready and Definition-of-Done in all squads
• Improve automation and manual coverage standards
• Monitor bug triage SLAs and reporting dashboards
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Engineering for quality alignment

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in software QA
• 2+ years leading QA teams (manual + automation)
• Experience with JIRA and Xray (mandatory)
• Familiarity with Playwright or equivalent automation tools
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills
• Fluent English

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in fintech or marketplace products
• Knowledge of mobile test frameworks or accessibility tooling
