Our client is a fast-growing insurtech/autotech company that delivers an all-in-one eCommerce platform for extended vehicle coverage. Partnering with major automotive OEMs, the platform powers the entire customer journey — from quoting and payment to claims support — through modern cloud infrastructure, AI-powered personalization, and omnichannel digital marketing.

As the engineering team scales, they are looking for a mid-level Fullstack Developer who can contribute across the entire stack: building intuitive React frontends, robust .NET Core backends, and cloud-native microservices on AWS.

Role Overview

The Fullstack Developer will work closely with a cross-functional engineering team to design, build, and maintain features across the full application stack. This is a hands-on role where you will own end-to-end feature development, participate in architecture decisions, and contribute to a healthy software development lifecycle with well-defined CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable frontend interfaces using React, ensuring performance and responsiveness.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core (C#).
• Architect, deploy, and operate microservices on AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, S3, or similar).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable deployments.
• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, development, QA, deployment, and monitoring.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code aligned with team standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across frontend and backend layers.

Requirements

Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks, context, component architecture, state management).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/accessible UI design principles.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party services on the frontend.

Backend & Architecture

• Proven proficiency in .NET Core (C#) for building APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture: service decomposition, inter-service communication (REST, messaging), and resilience patterns.
• Experience designing and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (at minimum: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or ECS).
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts.

General

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack.
• Professional English communication skills (written and verbal — team and stakeholders are US-based).

Nice to Have

• Experience working with waterfall or hybrid project methodologies (waterfall + agile).
• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations or CRM-connected development.
• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or higher).
• Experience with API Gateway, SQS/SNS, or event-driven architectures on AWS.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security standards (OWASP, SOC 2).
• Experience in insurtech, fintech, automotive, or eCommerce industries.
