Job Openings Business Process & AI Strategy Consultant

About the job Business Process & AI Strategy Consultant

Business Process & AI Strategy Consultant

Focus: NetSuite functional optimization, AI-driven financial automation, and architectural process design.

Job Overview

We are looking for a high-level Business Process & NetSuite Expert to serve as our "Architect of Efficiency." This is not a production-line role; it is an architectural one. You will take over our existing NetSuite backlog, evaluate future-state operational workflows, and implement AI agents to automate the "heavy lifting" of financial reconciliation. You will be responsible for ensuring our billing and AR controls are robust enough to handle consignment and subscription-based revenue.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Backlog Management: Take full ownership of the existing NetSuite

development and configuration backlog (previously managed by outside consultants).

Functional Optimization: Review future-state workflows and recommend/implement native NetSuite capabilities to maximize ROI on the platform.

AI Implementation: Evaluate and drive "Build vs. Buy" recommendations for AI agent platforms within NetSuite to automate invoice validation, exception flagging, and reconciliation.

Process Auditing: Design and implement stringent billing and AR process controls, specifically for consignment and recurring revenue streams.

Strategic Roadmap: Deliver execution blueprints for the technical team to transform manual workflows into high-efficiency digital processes.

Required Experience

NetSuite Functional Mastery: Deep knowledge of NetSuite billing, Revenue

Recognition (Rev Rec), Saved Searches, and Inventory Management.

Industry-Specific Financial Controls (Mandatory Filter): Demonstrated experience designing billing/AR process controls specifically for consignment, subscription, or recurring revenue business models.

AI Literacy: Practical experience implementing AI tools (LLMs or AI Agents) for financial or operational automation.

Process Engineering: 5+ years in business analysis. While Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is a plus, the focus is on architectural integrity rather than lean production.

Travel: Ability to travel to US-based locations for intensive discovery workshops.
